- To help USAID inform the public, particularly S&T policy-makers, how the agency has in the past and in the future plays an important role in using science and technology (S&T) to assist developing countries integrate into an open and equitable international system. To help USAID policymakers rethink USAIDs role in using S&T not only as a tool to deliver benefits to developing countries but also to actively engage developing countries to acquire S&T capacity for innovations to meet their own development needs and challenges.
