Description
Provide materials, equipment, labor, and transportation required for pier repairs and improvements at USCG Station Maui, Maalaea Harbor, Island of Maui, Hawaii. Work includes replacement of wooden pier bullrail, install boatlift, and replace fenders and wales. All work shall be completed, with property ready for use no later than one hundred fifty (150) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the best overall value to the Government, technical factors, price and other factors considered. This solicitation is issued under and the resulting contract awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (PL 100-656)(Unrestricted). The construction range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Only faxed or written requests for bid packages are acceptable. Telephone requests will not be honored. This notice is for informational purposes for minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged B! usiness Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
