- Soliction No. DTFA09-02-R-22024, Construction of a MALSER, Glide Slope, PAPI, and RVR for Runway 05, Des moines International Airport, Des Moines, Iowa Project generally consists of, but not limited to the following: 1. Installation of concrete foundations 2. Construction of concrete access road 3. Installation of crushed rock facility plots/parking areas, walkways, and access road 4. Install fiberglass shelter buildings and associated grounding counterpoise/lightning protection system 5. Install underground power and control cables 6. Install PVC secondary wiring 8. Install steel 45' glide slope antenna tower and antennas 9. Install frangible EMT mounted and LIR pole mounted MALSER lights, PVC duct system and wiring 10. Install frangible EMT mounted PAPI lamp housing assemblies, equipment racks and underground power and control cables 11. Install RVR LIR pole, mounting stand, equipment rack, and underground power and control cables 12. Perform operation testing of all systems Estimated price range: $250,000 and $500,000.
