- Description
- Request For Proposal (RFP) #JCRV-01-02, for Outreach, Admissions and Career Transition Services in all workforce investment areas in the State of Nebraska for eligible individuals participating in the Job Corps program. This contract includes recruitment of individuals for the Job Corps program as well as providing post-center transition services to eligible program participates. Contractor will work in conjunction with Job Corps centers to serve youth 16-24 years old. The RFP will be available on the World Wide Web on or January 25, 2002, at http://www.wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period From October 1, 2002 to September 30, 2004, with three (3) Governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The perspective contractor will provide outreach and admission services for 325 male students and 175 female students. In addition, the perspective contractor will provide post-center transition services for 375 youth. A pre-proposal conference shall take place at 9:00 am on Thursday, February 7, 2001. It shall convene at the City Center Square building, located at 1100 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri, Building Conference Center, Located on the 2nd Floor Room 202. City Center Square is located between Main and Baltimore at 12th street in downtown Kansas City. Interested offerors should limit their attendance to no more than three (3) individuals. It is recommended that interested parties download the RFP from the Job Corps Acquisition Web Page, at http://www.wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Limited number of printed proposals will be available at the conference. If unable to download from the DOL Internet site please make your request to one of the points of contact for a copy to be mailed.
