- Description
- This is a notice of intent to award on a sole-source basis for the commercial items in accordance with FAR part 12 procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. This action is being processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures including provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The place of performance is the Federal Medical Center Butner, North Carolina. Under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 FMC Butner intends to issue to Nucletron Corporation, a sole-source purchase order for the continued maintenance and support of a Nucletron Simulator-HP System. The Maintenance agreement includes preventative maintenance and unlimited emergency service, firmware and software updates, 24 hour telephone support, labor, expenses and parts.
