Description

NA NOTE: Any prospective bidder/offeror interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this solicitation must register on our website at http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/ Contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance. Plans and specifications will be issued on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. ONLY 50 CDs WILL BE ISSUED. CDs will be issued to prime contractors and plan rooms on a first come/first served ba sis. Description of work: This project provides for the replacement of existing primary and secondary underground electrical distribution systems in the Hillcrest Military Family Housing Area on Pope AFB, NC. Work includes new underground cable and cond uit for both primary and secondary distribution, limited replacement of pad-mounted transformers, installation of meter blanks on each housing unit, replacement and conduit for street lighting, replacement conduit for Cable TV and telephone systems. Option s may be included in this solicitation. The NAICS Code is 235310. Estimated cost range of this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Network Analysis System will not be required. THIS SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IN AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS PURSUANT TO THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPMENT REFORM ACT OF 1988 (Public Law 100-656). This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will also be available on or about January 25, 2002 on the Internet http://ebs.sas.usace.army.mil/ Notification of amendments will be through use of the Internet. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. It is the contractor?s responsibility to check the Internet address provided below as necessary for any posted changes to this solicitation and all amendments.
