- THE CURRENT SOLICITATION, F34601-02-R-0055, WILL BE CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY AND WILL BE RE-ISSUED UNDER NUMBER F34601-02-R-0107. SEE CHANGES BELOW. Services, Non-Personal, Repair: The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the repair, test, packing and packaging and return to the government in accordance with the specifications contained in the contract, the line items of Air Force equipment listed below. A firm fixed price type contract is contemplated for One Year, plus four One-year options for CLIN 0001. The item and estimated quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN: 6115-01-224-5848, P/N: 28B58-9-B, Noun: Generator Application: C-130H Aircraft, Qty: Basic year - 81 each, Option I - 76 each, Option II - 85 each, Option III - 87 each, Option IV - 89 each. CLIN 0002: Data and Reports IAW DD Form 1423. CLIN 0003: Over and Above, as required. This solicitation is to obtain requirements type repair contract with 100% contractor furnished material. The approximate issue/response date will be 22 FEB 02. Deliveries are to be at a rate as follows: CLIN 0001: 8 each per month, 30 days ARO reps and order. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
