Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for technical, engineering and machinist support services for the Aerodynamics Laboratory located at Turner Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) in McLean, Virginia. The Government anticipates awarding a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Task Order contract with a 24 month base period of performance with three (3) one (1) year options. This requirement is 100% 8(A), Competitive, set-aside pursuant to a NAICS code 541710, Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The incumbent contract, DTFH61-97-Z-00024 is performed by Lendis Corporation, 6840 Melrose Dr, McLean, VA 22101. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov under the EPS for Vendors option followed by selection of the DOT center. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by email.
