- 17.DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS: Remove existing indoor and outdoor B&W fixed position cameras and install new low light capable color cameras, including camera monitors, multiplexors, power supply and digital recorder. Requirements are for brand name or equal cameras and components, and offerors will be required to submit descriptive literature. Delivery FOB Destination to: Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, WA within 120 days after contract award. This is a commercial (FAR PART 12) acquisition, and the Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed-price contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under "Business Opportunities" and solicitation number "N00406-02-R-5075". The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted on the referenced web site. Telephone requests will not be honored, and facsimile proposals will not be accepted. Electronic submission of proposals is NOT available for this procurement.
