- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for a CNC water jet cutting machine, X&Y cutting distance 6ft x 10ft, intensifier flow rate 1.3 GPM @ 36,000 psi, pressure range 10,000 to 55,000 psi, hydraulic reservior capacity 35 Gal minimum, Abrasive delivery rate .25 LB minimum to 3 LB max, abrasive tank capacity 200 LB minimum, cutting speed range not less than 2 IPM through 300 IPM. The equipment shall be capable of cutting .25" carbon steel at not less than 18 IPM using a maximum of three pounds of abrasive per minute and 1.36 gallons of water per minute. The surface finish roughness for the 18 IPM low speed range shall be between 65 and 110 micro-inches. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. Delivery desired by 1 July 2002. The unrestricted commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 4 Feb 2002 with a closing date of 6 Mar 2002. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors shall check the website periodically for the posting of the solicitation. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date, 4 Feb 2002. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to monique_a_klose@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website after the posting date of 4 Feb 2002. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. No notes apply.
