Description

The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for hollow-stem auger drilling methods located in the glaciated areas of the lower Elkhorn River Basin, Nebraska. The contractor shall be required to drill and install monitoring wells at approximately 33 sites within the study area. In addition, the contractor shall be required to collect and adequately describe the geologic deposits at each site. Soil-core samples shall be collected using a split-spoon (or appropriate style) stainless steel sampler with the drilling of the hole. Interested parties may request a copy of the solicitation either by U.S. Mail, e-mail or fax. The request must contain the Solicitation Number 02CRSS0010, the requester?s name, complete street address, telephone and fax number. Telephone request for the solicitation will not be accepted. It is anticipate the solicitation will be available on or after January 28, 2002. See Note 26
