Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to the inidividual or company best qualified to provide advanced occupational training to federal inmates housed at FCI Ashland, KY. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. Duties include but are not limited to: providing classes leading to a two year Associate Degree to approximately 20 students per class during each of Fall and Spring semesters, supplying instructors during the evening hours of 6:00 to 9:00 pm. est, Monday through Friday. Minimum requirements include: contractor must be fully accredited and must be listed in the directory "Accredited Institutions of Post-Secondary Education", or be designated as eligible by the United States Department of Education to receive tuition assistance funding. Also must be accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities or a comparable association. This will be a non-personal service contract and not a personnel appointment. The contract period will include one base year (not to exceed 12 months) and 4 one year option periods. The anticipated date for inssuance of soliciation packages is January 18, 2002.
