Description

This notice is an amendment to the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) Notice posted in CBDNet on October 10, 2001 and printed in the CBD October 12, 2001 as Solicitation number 52-SOBC-1-00006 (now 52-SOBC-2-00005 as shown above). To locate the initial Notice on CBDNet, cite "W-283 SN5103V0." The Geography Division, United States Census Bureau (Census Bureau) is conducting a competition in accordance with PL 92-582 (Brooks Architect-Engineer Act) and FAR 36 to enter into a long-term contract with a base period from award date through Phase 1, plus eight (8) annual option periods (adjusted to end on the last day of each government fiscal year (GFY)) through September 30, 2010. This contract is for the delivery of more accurate information to the TIGER database, a structure coordinate with an address for each structure that can be linked with the Master Address File (MAF), and a proposed maintenance mechanism (detecting change) for the TIGER database and the inventory of structures. The anticipated award date is June 25, 2002. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Census Bureau. Expressions of interest in obtaining the solicitation should be forwarded via Email (philip.m.hodges@census.gov) to the above contact within 15 calendar days after the issue date of this Notice.
