- Plan I - Purchase of networked outbound U.S. Postal shipping and mailing system with the capability to upgrade to a multi-carrier shipment management system. To include: Basic system hardware, hardware and/or software required for multi-carrier capability, maintenance, and training. Plan II - Lease of networked outbound U.S. Postal shipping and mailing system with the capability to upgrade to a multi-carrier shipment management system (Equipment lease shall not exceed 36 months, with a $1.00 purchase option at the end of the 36 month period). To include: Basic system hardware, hardware and/or software required for multi-carrier capability, maintenance, and training. This plan involves a base lease period of 01Feb02 through 30Sep02, with three option periods to cover the remainder of the 36 month lease period.
