Description

Item 0001: Remove and replace 192 theater seats building 606.. Quantity: 1 Lump Sum. ; Provide labor, material and equipment to remove and replace the theater seating in building 606 in Cinema 1 and Cinema 2. Each theater has ninety-six seats; a total of 192 seats, each row have 10 chairs only leaving the last row having 6 chairs for four handicap wheelchairs. Seats must have drink holders in each armrest that will handle 22/32/44 ounce cups, lounging back which allows chairs to rock back and forth, fabric shall be scotch guard for easy cleaning, color should be the same as existing seating (blue). Seats shall be off center from the one in front to allow for better visibility. The distance between each row is approximately 44-46 inches, chair height is 35 inches off the floor, current base of the chair is 22 inches apart and from arm rest to arm rest is 22 inches. Seat should be in a curved set up with the two end seats being the closer to the screen; the curved area comes in about 40-42 inches. From the first seat to the last seat is approximately 19 feet with a few inches to spare. The walkway to the other walkway on the opposite side is 245 inches. Contractor will provide direct replacement of theater seats with removal of existing seats, which are bolted to the floor and connected together. Contractor to dispose of old seating units upon completion of work. Award Procedures follow: Low price. Anticipated award date: 02/22/02.
