- Description
- Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to construct 96 family housing units at Hickam AFB and 6 family housing units at Bellows AFS. Work on this project shall include, but is not limited to, demolishing existing housing, constructing new family housing units with slab on grade, providing framed construction, external and interior walls, windows, doors, hardware, roofing, fixtures and accessories, air conditioning, plumbing, interior finishes, cabinetry, electrical, grading, paving, site utilities and related landscape work, and other incidental work at Hickam AFB and Bellows AFS, Hawaii. The performance period for this project is 600 calendar days. A solicitation will be issued in compliance with Public Law 100-656, Business Opportunity Development Program Act of 1988, establishing a test of unrestricted competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 233210, $11.5M. The magnitude of construction project is between $10M and $50M. This solicitation will be issued on or about 4 Feb 2002. Closing date for this solicitation will be 30 days after the date of issue. THIS SOLICITAION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE VIA THE INTERNET FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT www.eps.gov and http://cbdnet.access.gpo.gov/. AMENDMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED ON THE INTERNET ONLY. The solicitation package will include 1 set of drawings of approximately 307 plus sheets with technical provisions of approximately 387 plus pages provided on CD ROM. Telephonic requests will not be honored. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award form any DOD activity.
