- Description: This synopsis identifies Buckley Air Force Base, CO has a requirement for packing and crating services. The solicitation will be issued under a separate Request for Proposal(RFP) identifying the specific Government regulations and standards required in performing Government packing and crating services. Packing and Crating services include for the preparation of personal property of military members and civilian employees for movement or drayage and related services. Performance period will begin on 1 March 2002 through 30 September 2002 for the base year, followed by three (3) one-year option periods through September 30, 2005. Solicitation anticipated to be issued on or about on 15 January 2001. Request for Proposal will close on 15 February 2002. This requirement is a total small business set aside. Request for proposal is available only on the internet at http://www.eps.gov potential contractor must be registered in the Central Contractors Registry to be eligible for award (See internet site: http://www.ccr2000.com). Notice to potential offeror, you must be licensed and registered to perform the service in the state of Colorado The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code/ North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 4783/488991, and the small business size standards $18.5 Million. Basis of award will be past performance and price.
