Description

NAICS Code 234110 Solicitation No. FS-WOc-2-09 for Culvert Replacement, Forest Wide, for the States of Arkansas and Oklahoma, Ouachita National Forest, to be issued on or about January 9, 2002, with offers due on or about February 11, 2002. Work consists of installation of 18 and 24-inch diameter polymeric coated corrugated steel pipe including all bedding and backfill, removal and disposal of existing culverts. This contract will be for a base of 1 year with options to extend for additional two 1-year periods. This procurement is open to both large and small business concerns, subject to Davis-Bacon Act and does require bonds. Multiple awards may be made. The Government may or may not hold discussions on technical proposals, therefore, the offeror's initial proposal should contain the offeror's best terms from a technical standpoint. Evaluation of Technical Factors will be accomplished by the Government's critical analysis of each contractor's proposal. The technical factors are: Experience of a firm as a business organization; Experience of key personnel; Past performance; Equipment. All evaluation factors, when combined, are approximately equal to price.
