- Description
- The purpose of this proposed contract is to provide the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) with a ready source of management and technical expertise in carrying out projects related to strategic planning, organization development, project management, complex technical assistance, pre-award assessments, and improving administrative effectiveness. The estimated performance period is 60 months. The successful contractor must have in-depth working knowledge of CDC's mission (and in particular the mission of each of the 12 Centers, Institutes, Offices (CIO's), various public health complexities, and operational planning expertise. The contractor must also have ready access to a wide variety of consultants with a diversity of complex skills and experience in both domestic and international activities. The contractor must be able to provide expeditious turnaround for requested tasks (1-4 days from CDC request). The solicitation is scheduled to be posted online on www.eps.gov on or around January 22, 2002. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing after the solicitation has been posted in accordance with the instructions in Section L of the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This acquisition is a total 8(a) set aside. The selected offeror must be certified as an 8(a) company with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The applicable NAICS/SIC code is 541611/8742.
