- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration requires the purchase of a Dynamic Shear Rheometer for use by the Office of Pavement Technology Asphalt Binder implementation laboratory. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the required Specifications and is the best value to the Government. This requirement is available to ALL Sources and the NAICS code is 334515 and the small business size standard is $5 million annual average gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years. The solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any, will be released and available electronically through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) under FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov. Choose the ?EPS for Vendors? option followed by selection of the DOT section. The solicitation and related documents will be posted under RFQ Number DTFH61-02-Q-00017. NO WRITTEN, TELEPHONIC, FACSIMILE, OR E-MAIL REQUESTS will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by e-mail. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the EPS (FedBizOpps) website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer. Offers are due JANUARY 11, 2002. Anticipated award date is January 15, 2002. This is a Simplified Acquisition.
