- This synopsis is published pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 5.205. This announcement is not a formal solicitation. Availability of any formal solicitaion will be announced separately. This sysnopsis is for planning pruposes onaly and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation. The U.S. Customs Service (USCS) has the need to acquire authentic orange juice concentrate samples from Florida and the countries of Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Belize for research involving the country of origin of this commodity. The Office Laboratories and Scientific Services of the USCS submits this notice for the collection of authentic orange juice concentrate samples from Florida and the above mentioned countries. Entities seeking this contract must be able to demonstrate experience and competency in performing the required task in the scope of work. The Goverment reserves the right to consider a small business set aside, or 8(a) set aside based upon request hereto. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
