- This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contract resulting from this RFQ will be a firm-fixed priced contract for armored guard courier services. The Internal Revenue Service is seeking the services of a local armored guard courier contractor including all supervision, labor, vehicles, bonding , insurance, transportation and materials to accomplish daily scheduled armored services from the IRS Ogden Service Center located in Ogden, UT to the Federal Reserve Bank in Salt Lake City, UT. Offeror?s shall be required to provide documentation showing evidence of the company?s bonding or insured certifications prior to contract award. The contract resulting from this RFQ will consist of one eight-month base period with two twelve-month option periods if exercised. The period of performance for the base period will run from 01 February 2002 through 30 September 2002. Requests for RFQ packages shall be submitted on company letterhead and mailed to the address below or faxed to 415-575-7440. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
