- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued by the 9th Contracting Office, Beale AFB, CA. Contractor shall furnish and install a fire alarm system in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Wage Determination Number 94-2055 (Rev 17). This document is prepared in accordance with the format found in the Federal Acquisition Regulations Document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This electronic announcement is the only solicitation being issued and quotes are being requested. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F04666-02-T-0052 is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01. This Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under NAICS Code 561621, small business size standard of $9,000,000 gross annual revenue. Place of delivery/installation is Building 2474, Beale AFB, CA. Delivery: FOB point is Destination. Delivery is on or before 28 Feb 2002. Quotes are due no later than 2:00 pm (PST) on 11 Jan 2002. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive a contract award. A site visit is scheduled for 9:00 am on 21 Dec 2001 at the 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale AFB. Prior to base access for the site visit, you are required to submit the following: full name, home address, home phone, driver?s license number/state of the individual, license plate number, vehicle, make, model, and year, if applicable; and name, address, and phone number of the employer. The preceding information is required by the 9th Contracting Squadron prior to 72 hours before the site visit, not to include weekends and government holidays. The attached form may be used to organize this information, and may be faxed or emailed to the point of contact. No more than two (2) representatives per organization will be allowed. The following clauses/provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1. Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items; Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with the quote; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items, and any addenda to the clause applies to this acquisition; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.222-41, Service Contract Act of 1965, As Amended; FAR 52.222-42, Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires; DFARS 252-232-7009, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (CCR). Offerors shall submit with their quote copies of any applicable license(s) and information showing that the offeror has successfully installed an interior fire alarm system of the same type and design as specified in the Statement of Work or that the offeror has a firm contractual agreement with a subcontractor having such required experience. The information shall include the names and locations of at least two (2) installations where the offeror, or subcontractor has installed such system(s). The offeror shall indicate the type and design of each system and certify that each system has performed satisfactorily in the manner intended for a period of not less than eighteen (18) months.
