- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC SD) intends to issue solicitation No. N66001-02-R-5021 for emerging navigation technologies with potential for applicability in the areas of sensors and systems, and air and shipboard Command, Control, Communication, Computers Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) system technologies. This requirement is a follow on to Contract N66001-97-D-5036. The Navy intends to solicit and award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, single contract for all items. The type of contract will be cost plus fixed fee for a base period of three years and two, one year options. The estimated level of effort is 240,000 hours for the entire five (5) year performance period. This is a full and open competitive procurement. The applicable NAICS is 541330, small business size $20 million. The estimated release date for the solicitation is 1 February 2002.
