Description

Concerns having the ability to provide a CVC Model 430D, Front/Back and Wrap-a-round labeling machine, capable of both stand alone operation and integration into a tablet/capsule bottle filling production line without machine alteration. Model label applicator has a set-up system that self measures label and product and then automatically sets all speed settings without operator intervention: Additional features are the ability to store up to 50 job settings, provide wrinkle free labeling, can apply labels of width sizes from 0.5? to 6? and lengths from 0.5? to 10? to two sides of round and rectangular shaped containers. The primary structural parts are made of stainless steel and are of modular design. This equipment is considered to be a sole-source due to the foregoing features. Concerns are requested to give written notification (including telephone number for a point of contact) to Kathryn Ogilvie at the procuring office listed in this notice by December 28, 2001. It is the intent of the Albuquerque, NMVAHCS, to negotiate the purchase of this CVC Model 430D from Lakey Packaging, Inc. as the sole-source. Although no solicitation is available at this time, concerns responding to this notice may request a copy of the solicitation should one become available.
