- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk wishes to procure through full and open competition, after exclusion of sources (100% small business set-aside) officials for basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, baseball and softball, for Naval Station Norfolk, the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Dam Neck, NAB Little Creek, NAS Oceana and LANTFLT MWR departments. The NAICS classification code is 711211. This requirement will be for a 12-month base period with four additional one-year option periods. The requirement will be solicited and evaluated through commercial item and simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5 the Clinger-Cohen test program for certain commercial items. A complete RFQ package will be available only through the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation will be issued on or about 07 December 2001. By submitting an offer, contractor will be self-certifying that neither the offeror nor the principle corporate officials and owners are currently suspended or debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive federal contracts. All offerors shall be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR), failure to do so may constitute grounds for the rejection of an offer. Numbered Note 1 applies.
